One of my Reservation Units will not send reservations to Google, but others will – how do I fix this?

If there is a Reservation Unit that is not communicating with your Google account, you may need to reset the Calendar Sync. Follow the steps below to do this:

  • In Deskworks, go to INVENTORY>RESERVATION UNITS
  • Click EDIT next to the Reservation Unit you want to reconnect
  • With that page open, in another browser tab log in to your Google account and open your Calendars
  • Locate the Google calendar matching the Reservation Unit in Deskworks, and open the Settings page for that calendar.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and you’ll find the Integrate Calendar area; the first entry there should be the Calendar ID. Copy this text.
  • Go back to your Deskworks Reservation Unit tab. Uncheck the “Sync with Calendar?” box and SAVE.
  • Once saved with the Sync box unchecked, re-check the Sync with Calendar box and paste the Calendar ID from Google into the Calendar ID field in Deskworks. Save again.
  • Place a test reservation in your Deskworks calendar in the Reservation Unit you’ve reconnected. Reservations should begin appearing in your Google Calendar.

If the above steps do not solve your issue, you may need to do a full Calendar Integration reset. Instructions for this can be found under None of my Reservation Units are sending to or receiving from Google, how do I reset my whole Integration?
