The Deskworks Room Reservation Tablet App lets you display a room’s daily reservations on a tablet placed next to the space. Members can also book the room directly from the tablet.
Note: This feature is available on the Pro Plan. If you’d like access or want to learn more about upgrading, submit a support ticket and our team will be happy to help.
The app shows:
- A calendar view of the day across the top
- Upcoming reservation details including time, member name or company, and optional title
- A MAKE A RESERVATION button that lets members login and create a new booking
What You’ll Need
- A tablet that can download apps from the App Store or Google Play
- Wi-Fi or wired internet connection
- Power source or long-life battery
How to Set Up the Reservation Tablet App
- Download the Deskworks app from the App Store or Google Play on your tablet. If your workspace uses a private-labeled version of the app, download that instead.
- Open the app and search for your location.
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Go to SETUP > RESERVATION TABLET SETUP.
- From the dropdown menus:
- Select the Reservation Category.
- Select the Reservation Unit (the specific room the tablet is next to).
- Tap START to launch the display.
Note: To change the settings later, tap the MAKE A RESERVATION button on the tablet and log in as an Administrator.
