The setup for Deskworks Pay is extremely simple.
Getting Started
- Complete the Deskworks Pay Interest Form →
- Our Payments team will contact you to begin the no-commitment evaluation.
- Fill out and return the Merchant Application, which they will send you to complete.
- The Payments team will conduct underwriting, which typically takes a few hours, but can take up to a few days. (You are assumed to be pre-approved as a Deskworks customer, so underwriting is minimal.)
- Once you are approved, Deskworks Pay will send you the final contract for digital signature.
Connecting Deskworks Pay to Your Site
- The Payments team will provide our DevOps team with your credentials to connect payments to your Deskworks site. You will be notified that the connection is complete, and you will see your new Payments "Bank" under SETUP>BANKS.
- Go to SETUP>FACILITIES. Click EDIT for the Facility you want to attach to your new Deskworks Pay account.
- Select the Bank you want to use for each facility from the dropdown:

Testing & Data Transfers
Existing Clients Using Spreedly Payment Vault
Run a $1 test payment. All of your payment methods are still held in Spreedly. There is no further action needed!
New Clients or Clients Moving From Another Payment Vault
If you have existing members with payment methods held in Authorize.net, Stripe, PlacePay, or any payment vault other than Spreedly, you will need to have your current vendor provide a secure file with all of your customers tied to their payment methods. We will help you through this process, which typically takes up to two weeks.
Follow the steps in How do I transfer my credit card data? →
When the file is completed, we will download it to your personal secure Spreedly environment and provide you with the mapping between your Deskworks customers and the payment methods for your review. (There are typically some payment methods you have stored for customers who are no longer with you and might not be in Deskworks. There may also be some customers in Deskworks that have to be manually matched to a payment method from the download.)
When you have approved the mapping, follow the steps for Connecting Deskworks Pay to Your Site above and run a test payment. Remember, you own your own data with Deskworks!
